Timelines

  • Acknowledgement of every grievance within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Complaints about content that must be removed under Rule 3(2)(b) of the IT Rules — including impersonation, nudity, morphed or non-consensual imagery — are actioned within 24 hours.
  • Other content-removal and takedown requests under Rule 3(2)(a) are disposed of within 15 days, and complaints seeking removal of unlawful information are acted upon within 72 hours of receipt of a valid order or notice.
  • All other grievances are resolved within 15 days, with a written outcome shared with the complainant. Data Principal requests under the DPDP Act, 2023 follow the same 15-day commitment.
  • We maintain a record of every grievance, the action taken and the date of disposal, in line with the IT Rules, 2021 as amended.

What to include

  • Your name and preferred contact details;
  • The product, venture or web page concerned;
  • A clear description of the issue and the outcome you seek;
  • Any supporting documents, screenshots, invoices or policy numbers.

Escalation

If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may escalate as follows depending on the subject matter:

  • Personal data: the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • Insurance: the grievance cell of the concerned insurer, the IRDAI Bima Bharosa portal, or the Insurance Ombudsman.
  • Food or health products: the concerned FSSAI or State AYUSH / drug licensing authority.
  • Consumer disputes: the National Consumer Helpline or the appropriate consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

This mechanism is published in compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
